Organic and bio dynamic agriculture

♦  Since 2005, the vineyard is organically managed, which means we do not use any:

• chemical sprays
  
• chemical fertilisers
  
• chemical weed killers

♦ But organic agriculture is certainly not for amateurs and requires attention to any detail.

♦  We often use :

• Nettle infusion for vigour,

• silica to avoid mildiou,

• various resins against insects

• clay to prevent rot.

♦  Our soil management is  focused on decompacting our soils naturally, on stimulating the natural microflore to decompose the natural nitrogen and aerate the soil.

♦  We plant in our unused fields:

•  flowers for attracting bees,
• sunflowers-maize: to attract birds which control certain insects.
  

♦ In addition:

• we are managing our woods in order to preserve wild life,
• we recuperate the water from the rain fall,
• we recycle all our winery wastes, 
• our bottles are made from 85% recycled glass and we use recycled paper for our cartons and labels.
